The AMERICAN COMPOSITES MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION hosts a GLOBAL COMPOSITES SUSTAINABILITY FORUM on October 16 in the United States.

This group acts to improve global recycling awareness and define an ecosystem for the collection and processing of scrap and recovered materials with the goal of adding as much value as possible. We seek to build this network and move beyond knowledge sharing to global cooperation and organized action. To achieve this, we must focus on market development for recycled carbon and glass fibers, as well as develop standards for characterization and use of such materials. We are a prospering industry, but we do not have all the data we need to support our industry. We require both more case studies and a standard LCA to tell our complete story.
